Exit polls if Russian and CIS countries: theory and practice of electoral research
April 6. The International Scientific Conference "Exit polls in Russia and CIS countries: theory and practice of electoral research" was held at the Central Election Commission of the RF. The following issues were discussed at the conference:

- Lessons learned from unsuccessful exit polls
- Specifics of conducting exit polls in Russia compared to other countries
- Basic difficulties that sociological companies may face conducting exit polls in the current electoral cycle
- Problem of accuracy of exit polls
- How to overcome the limitations of exit polls caused by the development of new election technologies (sms and E-voting), the increased scale of early voting, home voting, voting at closed stations
- New technologies of exit polls` data acquisition, transmission and processing
